‼️‼️Let's study and grow in the Word Ladies‼️‼️

There is a personal study that I began on the fruit of the Spirit that has been so impactful! I want to invite you to do this, too.❤️

There are 9 fruit of the spirit Galatians 5 speaks about. You could study one per week.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

Where does this fruit come from? It's the character of God. The Holy Spirit produces this character in us. We are image bearers of Christ Jesus, made to have the same character as the Lord. Character is developed as we walk after the Spirit not after the flesh.

🍌Begin with prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal which fruit He wants to develop. He will show you.

🍓I encourage you to sit daily with the Lord meditate on how the Lord shows this character in everything He does, in scripture, and how he has shown this character towards you.

🍐Invite the Lord to develop that fruit in you. Ask Him to teach you what this character is. Allowing that week to be focused on Him revealing to you that character in your daily life, areas that you could use that fruit a little more, and areas that you see that fruit the strongest.

🍊Define the character. You can use Google, but I also encourage you to use a Bible concordance. Look up the different definitions of what the original verses defines that fruit as, in the original Hebrew and Greek. You can list out the definitions that's stick out to you. If you do not know how to use a concordance, I would love to show you. But you can also look up the definition in merriam webster or search online for the biblical definition.

🍉 This is meant to be a close intimate time with the Lord. Write down on one page or more, what the Lord is teaching you on that fruit. I encourage you to use pen and paper, as we retain more if write, because we have to slow down to focus. If you can not, that is okay.

I pray through this, we each develop to become more like Jesus.

I encourage you to share what you're learning on this thread.

I've gone through patience! I am now moving to joy! It's a adventure with Holy Spirit!

I'll share my messy notes of what I wrote on patience.

Virtuous women are rising.

Women who are returning to biblical truth and biblical living.

Women who are laying down the counterfeit versions of strength the world has offered them and rediscovering the strength that comes from on high.

They aren't striving to be “boss ladies,” they are becoming women of God.

Don't confuse their meekness with weakness.

These women know how to do hard things and holy things.

They are fierce, but gentle.
They are fighters, but peacemakers.
They are strong, but submitted.

They know how to speak with wisdom and remain silent with discernment.

They know how to be the heart of the home and slayers of giants.

They carry tent pegs, and they know how to wield swords.

They watch over their homes, not merely with their eyes, but on their knees.

They pray for their husbands.
They war for their children.
They contend for prodigals.

They cover their families in prayer because they understand that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood.

These women don't have time for petty drama, because there are strongholds to tear down.

They don't give themselves to gossip and slander because they are too busy building up and speaking life.

They don't waste their energy competing with other women because they are too busy helping other women rise.

They aren't slothful, they are diligent.

They steward what God has placed in their hands, their homes, their families, their gifts, their time, and their influence.

They don't need to prove their strength because their fruit speaks for them.

They understand that the world doesn't need another imitation of what culture calls a powerful woman.

It needs women who know what it means to be powerful in God.

Women who can kneel without being weak.

Women who can serve without being insignificant.

Women who can submit without losing their voice.

Women who can lead without becoming proud.

Women who can fight without becoming bitter.

Women who can be fierce without losing tenderness.

Women who can carry a baby in their arms and a burden for a generation in their spirit.

Women who can build a home and tear down a stronghold.

Women who can wipe a child's tears and war in the heavenlies.

And hell is about to discover that it underestimated the virtuous woman.

That kind of woman is consecrated… she's positioned… she's prepared.

She's becoming a daughter of the King.

And when a woman knows whose daughter she is, she doesn't have to fight for a seat at every table.

She knows the King has already given her an assignment.

So she gets up.

She girds herself with strength.

She picks up her sword.

She takes hold of her tent pegs.

She watches over her house.

And she builds.

We will not just sing about awakening, we will see hearts awakened.

We will not just preach about healing, we will witness the healing power of Jesus.

Last night I had a dream where I saw Jesus standing in the middle of a large body of water.

In His hand was a wooden shepherd’s staff, and He began to stir the waters.

I asked Him, “What are You doing?”

And He looked at me and said, “My people have cried out, ‘Do it again, Lord. Do it again!’ So I am doing it again. I am stirring the waters.”

I believe there is a prophetic picture in this dream of what the Lord is doing in this hour.

For some time, there has been a cry rising from the people of God, “do it again, Lord.”

Do again what You did in previous generations.
Do again what we have only heard about.
Do again what we have read about in Scripture.

We have cried out for revival.
We have cried out for awakening.
We have cried out for healing.
We have cried out for fire.

We have cried out for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit.

And I believe the Lord is answering that cry.

He is stirring the waters.

Throughout Scripture, water often becomes a picture of the movement of God.

Waters can represent life, cleansing, healing, renewal, and the activity of the Spirit.

In the dream, Jesus was carrying a shepherd’s staff.

That spoke deeply to me.

Because this stirring is not about God coming to destroy His people, it is about the Shepherd coming to lead His people.

He is drawing His Church back to the place of dependence upon His voice.

Back to prayer.
Back to the secret place.
Back to hunger.
Back to holiness.
Back to worship that isn't performed for people but poured out before Him.

Back to altars where people don't simply ask God for His hand, but encounter His presence.

The Shepherd is leading His people into waters we have never experienced before.

There is a generation that is going to stop being satisfied with stories of what God did and begin experiencing what God is doing.

They will hear about the move of God in previous generations, but they will also have their own testimony.

They will know what it is to encounter God.

They will know what it is to pray until something shifts.

They will know what it is to worship until the atmosphere changes.

They will know what it is to watch God heal.

They will know what it is to see prodigals come home.

They will know what it is to see hardened hearts awakened by the presence of God.

They will know what it is to carry the fire of the Holy Spirit.

The testimony will not end with the previous generation.

But when the waters are stirred, you cannot remain standing on the shore, you have to step in.

There is a difference between watching someone else experience revival and becoming hungry enough to participate in what God is doing.

The stirring is an invitation.

An invitation to go where the deep cries out to deep.

There are things that have been dormant that are going to come alive again.

There are gifts that have been buried that will be awakened.

There are callings that have been neglected that will be revisited.

There are people who once burned with passion for Jesus who will find their hearts burning again.

And there are people who have never experienced the fire of God who are about to discover what it means to encounter Him.

The waters are being stirred.

Not because we have figured out how to manufacture revival.

Not because we have created the perfect atmosphere.

Not because we have found the right formula.

But because the Shepherd Himself has stepped into the waters.

And when Jesus steps into something, everything changes.

So keep crying out.

Keep asking, “do it again, Lord.”

We are approaching a moment where the Church will not just talk about revival, we will encounter it.

We will not just sing about awakening, we will see hearts awakened.

We will not just preach about healing, we will witness the healing power of Jesus.

We will not just tell stories about the fire of previous generations, we will carry the flame into our own generation.

The Shepherd is in the waters.

His staff is in His hand.

The waters are moving.

The cry has reached heaven.

So get ready, Church.

The waters are stirring.
