In these days and all of them, may we continue to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbor as ourself.

A quote from Henri Nouwen:
“The first love says, ‘I loved you before you could love anyone or before you could receive love from anyone. I have accepted you. You are accepted. You are loved no matter what mother, father, brother, sister, school, church, society does. You are born out of my love. I have breathed you out of my love. I have spoken you out of my love. You are the incarnation of my love and in me there is no hatred, there is no revenge, there is no resentment. There is nothing that wants to reject you. I love you.’ Can you trust that love? The original love is the original blessing. The original love is the original acceptance.”

Let us pray,
O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
— Book of Common Prayer, pg 815

Cycle of Caring - National Period Poverty Awareness Week (May 11-17)

Cycle of Caring is a period product donation program that supports a continuing but often overlooked need in our community—menstrual hygiene equity. Donated period products will be given to Harmony Health Clinic, a free medical clinic serving Central Arkansas. By providing free access to period products, we help restore dignity and remove barriers for those affected by period poverty.

The Cycle of Caring donation bin is located the breezeway between the Welcome Center and the Parish Hall. Please consider a donation in honor of National Period Poverty Awareness Week (May 11-17). For more information about the program, please contact Anna Morshedi 501-258-7664.

How You Can Help
- Drop off unopened period products in the labeled donation bin (located between the Welcome Center and the Parish Hall)
- Make a financial contribution using this link: https://onrealm.org/StMargaretsEpiscopalChurch/give/CycleOfCaring
