Dear Church Family,
Last night Western Hills UMC and Faith UMC leadership had a meeting with our District Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Ulysses Washington, and received news that a new pastor has been appointed to our churches. Rev. Terry Gosnell, ordained as an Elder in 2004 who is currently serving as the Senior Pastor at Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock will be joining us at the pulpit Sunday August 3, 2025. Everyone, please join us to welcome him to Western Hills!
We are excited to be once again working with Faith UMC as our sister Church with Rev. Gosnell serving our churches. Please remember all those that are serving as pastors in your prayers during their transitions to their new appointments.
Rev. Gosnell shared the following in his bio;
“As in the beautiful Wesleyan hymn, Love Divine, All Loves Excelling, let us be “lost in wonder, love, and praise.” I want the people of Western Hills, Faith and beyond to know something: God loves you, and there’s nothing you can do about it …”
