Greater Friendship Christian Church Est. in 1915, Greater Friendship Christian Church, located in the Granite Mountain community, evolved in the 1970's from Steele’s Memorial Baptist Church.

Greater Friendship is a Christian church fellowship which values the Word of God, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and whose primary function and existence is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ through service to the people. It is our prayer that everyone would come to know the Lord, to grow in Him, and be used by Him. We are committed to honoring God, loving people and building strong families. It is

our heart’s desire that every member would follow the Holy Spirit’s plan for his or her life and live a victorious lifestyle through knowledge and obedience to the Word of God. We are a ministry of prayer, praise and worship dedicated to equipping the saints for the work of the ministry through inspiration of the Holy Spirit, fellowship, training and teamwork.

Though there has been some melting, there are many neighborhood areas that are still in bad shape. In order to allow our members to remain safe, Sunday School and Worship service are virtual today. Please check your email for the Zoom link to today’s services. Sunday school will begin at the normal time, 9:30 am. After, there will be a 15-minute break and worship service will begin, as normal, at 10:45 am. Please stay safe and warm.
