From the Desk of Superintendent Rufus L. Robinson- Pastor, Northside Church of God in Christ

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Brother William Dixon III, who transitioned from this life on August 15, 2026.

Brother Dixon was a cherished member of the Northside Church of God in Christ and a beloved and devoted son, friend, mentor, and encourager to many. His presence, love, and willingness to pour into the lives of others will be deeply missed by our church family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

At this time, we are praying for Deacon William Dixon II, District Missionary Donna Dixon, Keithen Dixon, and their entire family. May the Lord strengthen, comfort, and sustain them during this time of tremendous loss.

On behalf of the Northside Church of God in Christ, I extend our deepest prayers, love, and sincere condolences to the immediate and extended Dixon family. We ask the entire church family, friends, and loved ones to continue lifting the family before the Lord.
