This weekend, Brianna Dodds had the opportunity to represent Vine and Root Counseling at her church’s Health and Wellness Clinic. The event centered around the beautiful theme, “Caring for the body and strengthening the soul.” 💚

We’re grateful for opportunities to connect with our community, share resources, and support the importance of caring for both our physical and mental well-being.🌱✨

WOW Jesus Christ!!!
What a wonderful day at Body Of Christ Worship Center!!!

Ministers Certification Ceremony. 17 ministers completed the work. Associate Pastor Sharon Holly, Minister Director, did an excellent job coordinating and teaching this needed class. When Pastor Alfred Warren Jr. declared, “ Discover, Develop, Deploy.” The congregation rallied with taking their Next Step.

After service.

OUR hosted our first successful health screening event. Sister Aminah Allmon-Spencer and team…took that next step! We are embarking to have a Total Man ministry…Spirit. Soul. Body.

We’re not just pushing the Gospel of Jesus Christ…we are making The Good News applicable to every day life, on every platform.

Come with us…”if we can’t help you, we sure won’t hurt you.”

🕊️ BOCWC BEREAVEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Body of Christ Worship Center extends our heartfelt love and condolences to Deacon Allen Phillips III and family in the passing of his father, Mr. Allen “Tex” Phillips, Jr.

We ask our BOCWC family to keep Deacon Phillips and the entire Phillips family lifted in prayer during this time of bereavement. 🙏🏾❤️

Deacon Phillips, please know that your church family loves you, is praying for you, and stands with you during this difficult time.

Allen "Tex" Phillips, Jr, 82, of Little Rock, AR, peacefully transitioned from his home on August 24, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1944.

Allen's survivors include; wife, Alice Charles Phillips; children: Allison Philips, Allen (Tera) Phillips, III, Alton (Amber) Phillips, Sr., Cynthia (Jerry) Rucker, Winthrop (Karatha) McWright, Wendell McWright. Siblings include; Elijah (Gloria) Phillips, Elizabeth Higgins, and Dorothy Bryant.

He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Family Hour will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 6-7 p.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1915 Commerce Street, Little Rock, AR.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the aforementioned location.

Interment will follow at Rest in Peace Cemetery, Hensley, Arkansas.
