'LOVE THY NEIGHBOR' INTERFAITH EVENT

St Mark's Episcopal Church, Little Rock

All are invited!

Love Thy Neighbor is an annual interfaith service that brings central Arkansas faith communities together for an evening of music, shared wisdom, and reflection.

This year’s theme is "Awakening Hearts and Minds," and our guest speaker will be Khentrul Lodrö Thayé Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist monk and teacher.

Speakers and musicians from various religious backgrounds will share stories, prayers and songs from their faith traditions.

The Interfaith Food Festival will follow the service in the parish hall at Saint Mark’s with delicious vegetarian dishes prepared by local caterers and faith communities.

The House of Prayer will be closed this weekend due to the forecast winter storm. The parking area and driveways into St Margaret's will be closed off beginning at 3 p.m. Friday.

The Arkansas House of Prayer is offering ‘Winter Quiet Days’ the week of December 8–12. We invite anyone to come and spend some quiet time during a busy and holy season.

A small booklet of seasonally appropriate prayers, meditations, and reflections from different religious traditions will be available for visitors, who can use these to pray and learn about what various faith traditions are focusing on during the winter season.

The doors of the House of Prayer will be unlocked every day that week from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and, as always, will be open to key fob holders any time.
