The Arkansas Baptist State Convention is made up of seven agencies/institutions that are funded by the Cooperative Program and Dixie Jackson Offering giving of approximately 1,525 Arkansas churches. The Executive Board is responsible for receiving and distributing Cooperative Program funds and for the planning and logistics of the annual meeting of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention where the b

udget and programs are approved. The Executive Board is the missionary agency working to accomplish the Great Commission in Arkansas through Arkansas churches.

When disasters strike, Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers do more than clear debris. They bring the hope of Christ. For Ron and Carolyn Knowlton, that means listening, praying, and walking alongside people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

"We are all about evangelism," Carolyn says. "People's hearts are tender."

Through the Dixie Jackson Arkansas Missions Offering, Arkansas Baptists help support Disaster Relief training and deployments, equipping volunteers to meet practical needs while sharing the hope of Jesus with those facing crisis.
