We are so excited to have Sammy's Bookshelf as the official bookseller at the Hunger Summit! They will be selling copies of Norman Wirzba's books and other books related to hunger. Sammy's Bookshelf is an independent bookshop located in Little Rock, AR. They believe that books connect families and stories connect communities. The more books accessible to the community the better! You can find their storefront in the heart of West Little Rock at the Market Place Shopping Center.

We'll explore the things that diminish life—scarcity, loneliness, irrelevancy, suffering, and the end of life—and ask what actually brings life.

This fall, Three Pastors Walk Into a Bar returns for three more gatherings centered around the question: What will save us? Politics? Money? Military? Grace?
David, Preston, and Kate will begin each gathering with conversation around the day's topic, then open it up for questions and reflections. We'll rotate among our three churches, so bring a brown-bag lunch and join us for an informal time of conversation, connection, and getting to know our neighbors.

At 2BC, a small group is a sacred space designed for soul care in community. This fall promises to be a noisy season—elections and so many other forces will be pulling at our attention and pulling us apart. Small groups offer a chance to step back from the noise and tune into the voice of God, rooting ourselves in that love so we can love and serve the world well. Each group meets over a set period, typically 6–8 weeks, providing a rhythm of connection, growth, and reflection. You can read more about our fall offerings here: https://2bclr.com/smallgroups/

Did you know that many Christians throughout history believed s*x was an icon into the love, fidelity, and vulnerability of God and how God loves us? Have you ever wondered what makes Christian marriage Christian? Are you aware that marriage, singleness, and celibacy are all blessed ways of living out our Christian virtues? Have you ever wondered about 2BC's biblical and theological journey towards affirmation of LGBTQ people?

On Wednesday nights this fall, Pastor Preston will be leading a study on a theology of s*xuality. We will study the Scriptures, learn to think theologically (and not merely sociologically), examine Christian history, listen to science, and discern together how our bodies might live consistently with our confessions.

This will be a hybrid class. We will meet in the Journey Classroom and also on Zoom. All are welcome to join.
