The honor of raising young black men in our society is quite difficult but occasionally there is one who rises to the top and makes it all worth the struggle.

Ronold " RJ" Hendrix, has been chosen by God to represent Him, his family and church in the next phase of life....

Among many outstanding young men, 16 were recognized for academic excellence (3.0 GPA and above), and our RJ was one of them! With a perfect 4.0 GPA, RJ continues to lead by example. He will also be joining the National Guard and attending University of Central Arkansas, where he plans to major in Physical Therapy.

On behalf of Pastor Clarence Thornton and the Macedonia Baptist Church, we are incredibly proud of his hard work, discipline, and bright future ahead!
