Today as many of us sleep in, thankful for a day off, even more of us are bound to keep working - keep fighting. We lift up the dream of a man and recognize the injustices within our own society and system.

In light of the shutdown, Little Rock is taking action to support our community (see photo). If you would like to contribute but cannot make it to the drop-off locations, please leave items with Rev. Vogado at the Second Pres office on Tuesday.

Please take a moment to breathe renewed life into Rev. Dr. King's prayer "In the Moment of Difficult Decision":

"Eternal God out of whose mind this great cosmic universe we bless thee. Help us to seek that which is high, noble and Good. Help us in the moment of difficult decision. Help us to work with renewed vigor for a warless world, a better distribution of wealth, and a brotherhood that transcends race or color."
