Men of Faith Little Rock

Men of Faith Little Rock A gathering of men in a confidential environment with the purpose of helping each man answer God’s call and allowing them to share their journey of faith.

To inspire all men to answer God’s call. Men of Faith is a regular gathering of men every Friday morning with the purpose of helping each other answer God’s call in our lives. How do we do this? We have small group discussions arranged around themes and weekly topics. We know that not every man can come every Friday, so each week stands on its own. The format provides a confidential environment th

at allows men to honestly share our experiences, struggles, failures and successes in our journey of faith. The Church teaches us that God calls every man to be a servant leader. Individually His call will manifest itself differently depending on where you are in your faith journey. And that’s where Men of Faith comes in. Each Friday morning from 6 to 7:30 after coffee and bagels, there is a short reading, and a priest or a deacon will give an explanation. Then we break up into small groups for 45 minutes of discussion. Those discussions are the core of what we do. It is there where we try to live our faith more fully by supporting each other in our daily lives. Men of Faith seeks to feed each man’s spirit, and create a closer relationship with God, our family, the community and each other. WHEN: Every Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 am

Brothers,

Wow what a great first week to our new session. This Friday we will continue our new topic THE MEASURE OF A MAN, with this week's session “Half Empty or Half Full”. Let’s continue our Lenten Journey this Friday by making sure to bring someone new or that hasn’t been in a while. Can’t think of a better way to wrap up the week and to kick off the weekend. See you Friday!!!

In Christ's Peace,

Men Of Faith

Brothers -
Our new Theme Is "The Measure of a Man". Last Friday our first topic with this new theme was "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche". We discussed how men are portrayed in the media and how it affects our role as husband, father, and in society. We also talked about the real characteristics of men and how we are servant leaders.

Come join us this coming Friday for Session 2 of "The Measure of a Man".

THE MEASURE OF A MAN
Author: Anonymous

Not - How did he die? But - How did he live?
Not - What did he gain? But - What did he give?

These are the things that measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

Not - What was his station? But - had he a heart?
And - How did he play his God-given part?

Was he ever ready with a word of good cheer?
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?

Not - What was his church? Not - What was his creed?
But - Had he befriended those really in need?

Not - What did the sketch in the newspaper say?
But - How many were sorry when he passed away?

These are the things that measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

Brothers - What a great morning on Friday with Monsignor James E. Mancini. We were reminded how every day we are in Spiritual Warfare and must battle as a warrior of Christ. May God bless all of you and provide us with His Grace to win all the battles against evil. To listen to Msgr. Mancini's talk, please follow this link: http://tinyurl.com/Spiritual-Warfare-Msgr-Mancini

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER!
Feb 24, 2012 at Men of Faith Meeting
CTK Ministries Bldg 6am

Monsignor James E. Mancini, exorcist for the Diocese of Little Rock, has agreed to
speak to Men of Faith Little Rock on Friday, February 24th. His presentation on
the presence of evil in the world is certain to inform us and to prepare us to meet
the challenge of being a warrior in Christ for the Kingdom of God.

Make plans now to attend this talk! Bring one of your brothers in Christ who hasn’t
been with us for a while, so they can hear this message. Msgr. Mancini speaks
at retreats, conferences and renewal days around the country. This is probably
the only chance many of us may ever get to receive this kind of instruction.

DON’T MISS this rare opportunity to hear a REAL exorcist speak about the enemy
we all face every day. For more information on Msgr. Mancini, see this article at
the Arkansas Catholic website: Exorcist, leader of Arkansas Charismatic Renewal to retire
