Worship is mission and mission is worship. Servanthood Sunday is the intersection where our life together as a church unites our praise to God (worship) and the work we do in God's name for the sake of God's people (mission) into one Sunday morning experience.
This morning we'll be making single-use laundry detergent packs, which will be donated to the Food Pantry at St. Mark's Episcopal. Due to recent funding cuts, the pantry must focus their remaining financial resources on purchasing food, meaning other household essentials, like laundry detergent have been cut from the pantry budget. Donations like ours help to fill this gap.
