What a Beautiful Day to Celebrate Our Altar Servers!

On Saturday, we had a great day celebrating our altar servers! We are truly excited and grateful for these young children who generously give their time and energy to serve at the altar and be an example of faith to our parish community.

A special and heartfelt thank you to their families. Your support makes such a difference. Thank you for bringing them to Mass, practices, and parish activities, and most especially for encouraging them to grow in their relationship with Christ and to discover the joy of serving Him.

We are so proud of all our altar servers—and even more excited to see where the Lord will lead them. Who knows, among them may be our future priests, deacons, religious sisters, and lay leaders.

And FINALLY!!! Of course… CONGRATULATIONS to Our Lady of Good Counsel for bringing home the trophy! 🏆🎉 What a great way to celebrate!

Thank you, altar servers, and thank you, families, for saying YES to serving the Lord!

¡Qué hermoso día para celebrar a nuestros monaguillos!

El sábado tuvimos un hermoso día celebrando a nuestros monaguillos. Estamos verdaderamente felices y agradecidos por estos niños y jóvenes que generosamente ofrecen su tiempo y energía para servir en el altar y ser un ejemplo de fe para nuestra comunidad parroquial.

Un agradecimiento muy especial y de todo corazón a sus familias. ¡Su apoyo hace una gran diferencia! Gracias por traerlos a Misa, a sus prácticas y a las diferentes actividades parroquiales, pero sobre todo, gracias por animarlos a crecer en su relación con Cristo y a descubrir la alegría de servirle.

Estamos muy orgullosos de todos nuestros monaguillos y aún más emocionados por ver hacia dónde los llevará el Señor. Quién sabe, entre ellos podrían estar nuestros futuros sacerdotes, diáconos, religiosas y líderes laicos.

¡Y FINALMENTE!!!

Today, Pope Leo visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Counsel to celebrate Mass on the eve of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. During his homily he took time to invite us all to reflect on Mary’s quiet presence and to become servants of peace.

Hoy, el Papa León visitó el Santuario de Nuestra Señora del Buen Consejo para celebrar la Santa Misa en la víspera de la Natividad de la Santísima Virgen María. Durante su homilía, se tomó un momento para invitarnos a todos a reflexionar sobre la presencia silenciosa de María y a convertirnos en servidores de la paz.

Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary:
We invite everyone to join us for a special Mass on Tuesday, September 8, to celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. An English Mass will be offered at 8 a.m., and a Spanish Mass will be offered at 6:00 p.m.

Invitamos a todos a unirse a nosotros para una Misa especial el martes 8 de septiembre, para celebrar la Fiesta de la Natividad de la Santísima Virgen María. Se ofrecerá una Misa en inglés a las 8 a.m.y una Misa en español a las 6:00 p.m.

¡Misa de Instalación de Nuevos Monaguillos!

Con mucha alegría, invitamos a nuestra comunidad a acompañarnos mañana, domingo 30 de agosto, en la Misa de las 2:00 PM, para celebrar la instalación de nuestros nuevos monaguillos.

Acompañémoslos con nuestra oración mientras comienzan este hermoso servicio al altar. Que su ministerio los ayude a crecer en la fe, en el amor a la Eucaristía y a escuchar el llamado de Dios en sus vidas. ❤️⛪

Dear NLRCA and St. Mary’s Family,
It is with deep sadness and hope in eternal life that I share the passing of one of our cherished 8th grade students. Our hearts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time, and I kindly ask for your respect for their privacy.

The Missionaries of Charity will be hosting a
Novena for Mother Teresa from
August 27-September 4. Mass will be held each
evening at 6 pm August 27-28 and
August 31-September 4. The novena Mass on
Saturday August 29 and Sunday August 30 will
take place at 4:30 pm and 10:30 am.

A Mass to celebrate the Feast of Mother Teresa
will be celebrated on Saturday September 5 at
10:30 am. A potluck in the Gym will follow,
please bring a dish to share!

Las Misioneras de la Caridad (Calcuta) tendrá
se Novena para el día Festivo de la Madre
Teresa de Calcuta. El novenario comenzara el
27 de agosto hasta el 4 de septiembre. Las
Misas se llevará a cabo todas las noches a las 6
pm del 27 al 28 de agosto y del 31 de agosto al 4 de septiembre. La Misas de la novena del
sábado 29 de agosto y el domingo 30 de agosto
serán a las 4:30 pm y a las 10:30 am.

La Misa del día festivo de la Madre Teresa será
el 5 de septiembre a las 10:30 a.m., el
celebrante será el Obispo Taylor. Habrá
recepción (pot luck) después de la Misa en el
gimnasio.
