Hey! Life is in Full SWING 😊

Gabe and I sent out a newsletter for January talking about transition! After several months of praying, I felt the shift in my heart to go back into teaching full time. Gabe is still on UALR’s campus full time fighting for the college students. While I am at Oak Grove Elementary fighting for the 5th graders I have in my classroom.

My heart is grieved that I am not working for Chi Alpha anymore, but Jesus has given me so much peace as I have stepped into teaching this week!

Thank you for praying for me and supporting Gabriel and I! I will continue to lead a discipleship group with all of my girls from UALR this semester, because I still deeply desire their friendship and for them to continue learning about Jesus.

The Big Fall Down 🤠🍁
We had a Cowboy themed fun night with beans, s’mores, “horseback racing”, line dancing and a bonfire! It was the perfect way to kick off fall break.

(The guys were there too, I just don’t have any pictures with them 😂)

Welcome week 2023
WOW has the Lord been moving at UALR! We got to encounter so many college students hungry for the gospel this last week. Would you please be praying that the students we met would have softened hearts to receive and know truth?

Would you all please be praying for my little sister as her and a team of students head to El Salvador to serve Jesus for a week?

I’m so excited for Keira to experience Jesus and the Kingdom of God in this way! Serving outside of the country really does change your perspective on what it really means to be missional.

Keira has such a beautiful heart for others and for people to know Jesus! Praying for expectations to be broken, boundaries to be pushed and that hearts are opened! ❤️

We are now in full time support raising mode as the school semester has come to a close! Gabe and I remain hopeful and expectant of the Lord to do some big things this summer.

We have seen the Lord provide time and time again, through the Bible, others around us and ourselves!

This summer Gabe and I are raising a $1000 one time budget to pay for all the retreats and conferences we get to go to throughout the school year! These events allow us to lead students, pour into others around us, and become more equipped to disciple.

This is our last week on campus! 😭
It’s very bittersweet! We are excited to be sending the students off into the summer, but we will miss those who are graduating, transferring or heading off into the marketplace! We are praying rest, boldness, and joy over our students, believing that Jesus will fully take care of them!

We will have summer Dgroups and house church for those that live locally!

This past weekend we had our annual Leadeship Retreat! We invite our student leaders out for a weekend full of family time, adventure and challenges. We went camping this weekend, and spent so much time admiring God’s beautiful creation. On Saturday we all went floating down a river. So many students overcame fears this weekend and they allowed Jesus to be in control.

I know for me there were several things that felt out of my comfort zone, but I’m amazed at how good Jesus is in taking care of us in our weakness. ❤️

Life lately has been full of laughter, family time, God moving, and student’s hearts being transformed!! There is only 1 month left of the spring semester. We are praying for the Lord’s hand to be with all these students as they finish off the school year. I’m trying to prepare my heart as many of the girls I’m pouring into are getting ready to graduate this May! 😭❤️

This is Jennifer!

She is strong, courageous, and a beautiful women of God! During Fall Retreat, she decided to get baptized and publicly proclaim that Jesus is her Lord and Savior!

It truly was so beautiful to baptize Jennifer and I'm just so thankful to be walking along side her as a sister in Christ.

Please be praying for her as she dives deeper into her relationship with Jesus! Jesus is working big time here at UALR, and it's been a blessing to be apart of it all.

Less than a week away from our annual Fall Retreat!!
This is a weekend full of family time, worship, and most importantly growing in our relationship with Jesus.

This years fall retreat costs $55 a student! That covers everything for the whole weekend! There are some students that are unable to pay for fall retreat this year. Many of them work full time jobs to pay for school and to help their families financially.

We are reaching out to see if anyone would like to sponsor a student to go to fall retreat? In sponsoring them you are paying for their full fall retreat, and creating access for them to experience the presence of the Lord!

Please reach out to Gabriel or I if you feel the challenge to sponsor a UALR student!
