Riding the Highways and Byways declaring the Good News of Jesus Christ through the story of the 2nd thief. The message of the 2nd Thief is the assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Luke 23:32-43 NKJV

t hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.” The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine, and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.” And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew:

THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.” But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in paradise." He was nameless, Jesus knew him. He was alone and forgotten, Jesus remembered him. He confessed his guilt, Jesus forgave him. He was deserving of death, Jesus gave him eternal life. Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Good morning! With each new day that the Lord gives us, come new opportunities to allow the Lord, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to make an eternal difference for people through us. Many times, we don't know their needs, but the Lord does. The Holy Spirit will orchestrate conversations with people who have a saving faith, but are going through a spiritual battle and need prayer and encouragement. AND, he orchestrates conversations with people who don't know Jesus, and the Lord wants to use us as vessels to share the gospel as He draws that person to Himself (John 6:44). Yes, we are commanded to make disciples in the great commission, but what a wonderful honor and privilege it is that our Father in heaven, the Creator of the universe, our Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit want to use us to accomplish His sovereign purposes and will. In other words, our heart should be that we GET to be led of the Holy Spirit and used as vessels to accomplish His purposes, as opposed to we HAVE to because that's what we were commanded.

Founder’s Ride 2025- Hershey PA is complete ( 20-26May2025). There was a lot of beautiful highways and byways. Plenty of amazing divine appointments. Noah at Sight and Sound in Lancaster PA. Seeing brothers and sisters that I have not in some time. Blessing and encouragement across the board. The Lord is good. The Father gets the glory. Jesus gets our praise and worship, and the Holy Spirit gets our trust and devotion.
