📖 Genesis 27-28
God made the same promise to Abraham’s son Isaac that he made to Abraham. Isaac and Rebekah had twin sons, Esau and Jacob. Isaac intended to bless Esau, but Jacob deceived him and received the blessing instead. Esau was angry, so Jacob fled. On his journey, Jacob dreamed of a ladder reaching heaven and heard God reaffirm the covenant. Despite Jacob’s deceit, God revealed His plan and faithfulness through His promises.

📖 Genesis 12-15
God made a covenant with Abram and told him to leave his country and travel to a new place. Abram left and took his nephew Lot. After a while, there wasn’t enough room for both Abram’s and Lot’s flocks and herds. Abram let Lot pick which land to take. Lot took what appeared to be the best land for himself, but God reminded Abram of His promise. Lot ended up in trouble, but Abram rescued him.

📖 Genesis 11:1-9
God instructed people to fill the Earth. Instead, they chose to gather in one spot and build a city, including a great tower so that they could make a name for themselves. God protected them from their wrong desires
by confusing their language. They couldn’t understand each other and stopped trying to build the city. God scattered the people throughout the earth.

📖 Genesis 3
God created a perfect world where people were in a perfect relationship with Him. A serpent tempted Eve. She and Adam ate fruit from the tree. They became separated from God. They were no longer perfect, and the world was broken by their sin. They hid from God in shame, but the Lord did not leave them without hope. He promised a Savior who would defeat the serpent and free all people from the power of sin.

📖 Genesis 1:26-31, 2:4-25
God created Adam in His own image, and Adam lived in the perfect Garden of Eden. God told Adam not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God declared it was not good for Adam to be alone. Adam named every creature, but none were good helpers for Him. God created Eve from Adam’s rib. They lived in a perfect relationship with God in the beautiful garden He created.

📖 Psalm 136
His steadfast love endures forever. This line repeats numerous times throughout Psalm 136 as a reminder to give thanks to God for His faithfulness in all He has done. The psalmist walks through the history of Israel, from creation to God’s rescue in the promised land. We can thank God for His eternal goodness and His never-failing love.
