The Church were everyone counts. The veil also signified the separation between God's people, the Jews and Gentiles.

The "Veil" which was made of fabric signified a separation between where the priest would minister and the area known as the Most Holy Place; where the Spirit of God would reside. The "Tearing of The Veil," through the sacrifice that Jesus made allowed mankind direct access to God. Hebrews 10:20 says by His death, Jesus opened a new life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.
