Happy Friday,

Let's not get so caught up in what we do not have that we forget to be greatful for what we do.

Struggles will happen, and it is apparent in scripture. Jesus says we will be hated for His name sake, and James writes count it all joy when you go through trials.

Life is hard, and Jesus said In this world you will have trouble. This means it is guaranteed!💯

He also says but take heart, in Me you may have peace.

How do we have peace while having trouble.

1. Faith in Him who has overcame the world
2. Community, who is in your circle pouring into you LIFE
3. Worship and Prayer

When we worship God we enter into His presence with praise and Thanksgiving.

Next time you feel whelmed or overwhelmed, discouraged, hurt, or defeated, crank up some worship music and give Him praise!

Just a little Thursday uplift! Marriage is not for the weak, prideful, self-centered, selfish, condensending, belittling, tearing down, verbal abuse, name calling, or dictatorship.

Why is marriage challenging? Because when we go to the alter, we performing a sacrificial act of putting all those things above to death. It is the hardest thing to do, and we all go through a flavor of these things.

Don't give up! Communication is the hardest when pride takes control of our being offended. Being offended prevents true forgiveness.

There are many that deal with things in private, and feel hopeless because both or one person rebels with our trauma.

Marriage is beautiful when both people come together and become one! Becoming one is a process of humbleness and dying to self everyday.

Don't give up, seek community and healing. Becoming one gets better everyday!

To my wife, thank you for being my other half to become our one! I love you!
