On August 12, Pastor Jim Grossnickle-Batterton was interviewed on WITF's "The Spark" to talk about the upcoming PEACEFEST event. He represented our congregation and the beliefs of the Church of the Brethren. PEACEFEST in Lititz will feature Shane Claiborne and Promotes Peace, Justice and Community Action as a collaboration of local Church of the Brethren Congregations. Sunday's Guest Pastor: Rev. Angela Finet - Angela Finet has served the Mountville CoB for the past 5 years. Having written the recent Covenant Bible Study Sabbath: God's Call to Peace, Angela is passionate about helping people develop a regular rhythm of Sabbath that fosters peace and justice in our lives, our homes, and our community. She earned her MDiv from Bethany Theological Seminary where she was a classmate of Pastor Jim's.

This Sunday, August 16th, will be the final opportunity to donate fruits and vegetables for the Tree House of Lititz "Produce at the Playground" fresh food drive! Coolers will be available outside the playground entrance from 11 AM-1 PM. Whether it's something you picked from your garden... or picked up at the farmer's market or grocery store, all produce collected will be given to the Warwick Community Hub to be distributed to local families in need. Please have small produce items bagged.
