Living Sacrifice

Pastor Tope Abiara.

Romans 12:1-2.

[ ] A living sacrifice denotes living for God in every possible way.

[ ] A living sacrifice goes beyond accepting Christ. It is living for Him and His will to be done.

[ ] A dead sacrifice was in the old testament. Kill an animal and they don't leave the altar.

[ ] A living sacrifice gets to leave the altar. Even though you leave the church, your life must represent God.

[ ] Your style of living. We have free will, but by choice, what do we do? What activities do you participate in? The kind of music you listen to. Letting go of things you have pleasure in. It has to align with God's attribute.

[ ] God is interested in all your choices. Your career. Your purpose.

[ ] Your speech. Your reactions. How do you use your body. Your thoughts in your mind, do they glorify God.

[ ] Your time. How do you spend it.

[ ] Your resources. Your money. Are you so tight- fi**ed?

[ ] It involves obedience because it is hard. Luke 22:42.

[ ] Sometimes it will feel like you have been abandoned, but God is there.

[ ] Mattew 2:19-23. Joseph the father of Jesus bent to the will of God.

[ ] God's will did not end in the biblical ages. It still pertains to now.

[ ] Aligning with God's will alters yours.

[ ] Nothing is .ore beneficial

[ ] He becomes more interested in you

[ ] You become his friend.

[ ] It elevates you.

[ ] You will experience permanent joy

[ ] You recognize that your life is no longer yours.

[ ] Only God can deliver you
[ ] You need the maximum faith to be set free.

[ ] A spirit is a supernatural being. Mk 4:37
[ ] Spirit are invisible. Jn 4:24. God is the only true spirit.
[ ] Spirit are worshipped by their adherents.
[ ] Spirits are all over the place.
[ ] Spirits don't die, which is why we cast them out. Mk 9:25.
[ ] Spirits are jealous. Deut 5:9.

[ ] The spirit of truth is a spirit of freedom. The Holy spirit has come to swallow all orher spirits. Jn 16:13-15. God has not left us alone.
[ ] The spirit is one and non-contradictory.

[ ] God permits evil speits to work
[ ] Saul. 1Sam 16:14. You have to be careful, don't take God for granted. Hosea 4:17. 1 Sam 2:25
[ ] Samson. Judges 16.
[ ] Don't be around people that have evil spirits.
[ ] 1 Kings 22:22-23. Arab was deceived
[ ] Isaiah 37
[ ] Spirit of harlortry.
[ ] Spirit of lateness, the ten virgins.
[ ] Spirit of conspiracy.
[ ] Spirit of epilepsy, Mk 9:18.
[ ] Spirit of uncleanness, Mk 5:2.
[ ] Spirit of theft, Joshua 7:1.
[ ] Spirit of pride, Prov 16:18.
[ ] Spirit of begging, Acts 3.
[ ] Spirit of indecision.
[ ] Spirit of stubbornness. Pharoah. He perished.
[ ] Spirit of untimely death.
[ ] Spirit of loneliness.
[ ] Time wasters. Jacob and Laban.
[ ] Spirit of doubt and unbelief.
[ ] Spirit of gluttony. Esau.
[ ] Spirit of limitations. The axe-head that floated.
[ ] Spirit of debt.

*Topic: Line Of Limitations*

*Text: Then he defeated Moab. Forcing them down to the ground, he measured them off with a line. With two lines he measured off those to be put to death, and with one full line those to be kept alive. So the Moabites became David's servants, and brought him tribute* *[2 Sam. 8:2]*

*INTRODUCTION*
----------------------------
■Lines are Limitations. Lines are demarcations. They are restrictions, too. Invariably, lines set boundaries!

■Lines as used in our text today, are a tool used by a dominant party to restrict a further advancements of the victims.

*CONTEXT*
-------------------
■Having gained control and an upper hand over the Moabites, David drew lines to determine how far they could go. Their fate was put under control. Some to die, some to live. On the long run, the Moabites became David's servants. This singular conquest relegated the Moabites to servitude status ...and servants have no say in the affairs of their masters.

■Beloved, some lives & destinies have been placed on Limitations by reasons of lines drawn against them in the spirit realm. Consequently, such lives may NOT go beyond certain level, no matter what they do.

■However, at the intervention of God, there will be liberation, breakthrough, & freedom. This was the narrative of the c**t tied to a tree
*[Lk.19:28-40]*. He remained within the sphere of the line drawn, to his tether, until Jesus Christ pronounced his ultimate release & freedom.

■For someone reading this devotional, including I, a final & ultimate releases & freedom are available !

*PRAYERS*

●Father, I pray today that every line of Limitation drawn against me, in anyway, be wiped off by Your blood.

●LORD, by Your power, I advance higher & further than every spiritual line of Limitation drawn & established in my foundation.

●LORD, I refuse to be a servant to any oppressive power. My freedom is non-negotiable ! Amen 🙏
