πŸ–€β€οΈπŸ’š Happy Juneteenth! πŸ’šβ€οΈπŸ–€

Today, we celebrate more than a moment in history. We celebrate the triumph of hope over hardship, faith over fear, and freedom over oppression. Juneteenth reminds us that even in the darkest seasons, God is still working, still delivering, and still making a way.

As we honor the strength, perseverance, and sacrifices of those who came before us, let us also embrace our responsibility to build a brighter future for generations to come. May this day inspire us to walk boldly in our purpose, stand firmly in our faith, and continue the work of justice, unity, and love.

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." β€” Galatians 5:1

Happy Juneteenth! May we remember, rejoice, and rise together.

Please join Pastor Crawford and the First Saint Paul family in lifting the Lumpkin Family in prayer as they mourn the loss of their beloved family member, Brother Alex Lumpkin.
In times of sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted and faithful to those who call upon Him. Let us surround the Lumpkin Family with our prayers, love, encouragement, and support as they navigate the days ahead.
May God's peace strengthen their hearts, His grace sustain them, and His love remind them that they are not alone. As a church family, let us continue to stand with them and lift them before the Lord in prayer.
Please continue to keep the Lumpkin Family lifted in prayer. Celebration of Life information will be shared as it becomes available.

πŸ”₯ Sunday Sermon Recap | First Saint Paul AME Church πŸ”₯

What a powerful word delivered by Sis. Ingrid Williamson!

Through the message "A Call to Serve: I Am Up on the Wall and Cannot Come Down" (Nehemiah 2:11-20; 6:1-3), we were reminded that when God gives us an assignment, we must remain focused, committed, and unwilling to be distracted by opposition. Like Nehemiah, we are called to stay on the wall, continue the work, and trust God to strengthen us for the task ahead.

When purpose is clear, distractions lose their power. When God has called you, don't come down!
