The excitement was palpable across all Trinity sites this past weekend as members got to find out which child chose them as their sponsor through ! What an unforgettable experience. We pray that God blesses these children and communities in Bolivia through these sponsorships!

You are welcome to join the live streaming of the ordination of Sakarias Ingolfsson to new pastor in Oslo. It is Sunday Aug 16, 4AM Chicago-time. If you wake up at night to follow us, we in Oslo would be exited. It is all in English, but perhaps you would still enjoy to see the ordination is in the first part, before the sermon.

Rejoice with us.
Thank you to Trinity Lisle for your partnership that has enabled us to grow.

On August 1 we welcome one more pastor to The Lutheran Church in Norway. Sakarias Ingolfsson and family has moved from the West of Norway closer to Oslo where he will serve as senior pastor at the Messiaskirken congregation as well as having a key role in the AdFontes pastor training program. His ordination will be on Sunday August 16.
Ingolfsson is from Iceland, and is married to a Norwegian. They have three children. He has his theological education from Fjellhaug in Oslo and is currently in a S.T.M. program at Concordia Ft Wayne/Gothenburg. Ingolfsson has the last 8 years served at Norwegian Lutheran Mission in Molde.

This is a great development for our church.

Church doors were open today! What an excellent reminder that God is in control and his love is stronger than anything this world throws at us. We trust in God because he is faithful and good. And because God has shown us this great love, it is our responsibility to look beyond ourselves and pass that love to others. Look for ways to serve people during this uncertain time. Love your neighbor. Pray for our world.
