Selden Seen-ery This page is to help connect the support partners of the Selden family as they serve God Ray and Mary have two children: Benjamin (’97) and Hannah (’99).

For 21 years Ray and Mary Selden have given full-time service to the church in student ministries. In 2013 they sensed that the Lord was redirecting their service and passion. As they sought the Lord, it became obvious that He had been planning their transition for many years. Sixteen years ago, Ray had the privilege to serve the Haitian people on two short-term mission trips. In relaying his expe

riences to Mary, she fell in love with the Haitian people. In August 2013 she took her first mission trip to Haiti, and she knew the people had her heart. Ray and Mary returned to Haiti in March 2014, and they felt God calling them to become a part of His work in Haiti. In May 2014 Global Partners appointed Ray and Mary to serve as long-term missionaries in Haiti. It is their desire to be a resource of God’s grace as they work alongside the Haitian church. The median age in Haiti is 21.9 years, so much of the country’s population is the generation that comes after the Seldens. With this in mind, Ray and Mary will declare God’s power, love, and grace to the generation that comes behind them. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come (Psalm 71:18 NIV).
