God makes a way! That is good news because, left to our own devices, our lives would look a lot like those of the Old Testament Priests. Working day in and day out to deal with our sin and guilt over and over again. But God makes a way for us to be set free from sin and guilt once and for all. Our consciences are clean, and we can wholeheartedly love and serve God and our neighbors. Join us for another look at how the book of Hebrews sheds new light on the book of Leviticus in light of Jesus.

From 5 pm to just past 8 pm, we ate pizza, had good conversation, and read the whole book of Leviticus. Thanks for coming and way to go! There is some challenging stuff to read aloud, and there was some counting ahead to see who would end up reading chapter 18... phew, it wasn't the brave teenage boy who showed up.

It was a great night and hopefully people walked away with a better understanding of and appreciation for the book of Leviticus.

There is power in God’s Word —
in creation, in the written Scriptures, and in His quiet whisper to our hearts.

It’s uncommon today to gather and read an entire book of the Bible aloud together. But it didn’t used to be. In the early church, it was normal. And as God’s Word was read and shared, people experienced His power in community.

Maybe you simply want to check the “Leviticus” box on your Bible reading plan in one fell swoop. No shame — this is a great way to do that.

But there is more waiting for you than a checked box.

There is something formative about hearing God’s Word read aloud… together.
