A Statement of the Seeds of Faith Lutheran Church Council: In response to the social unrest and cries for racial justice in our nation, Seeds of Faith, in compliance with the Southeastern Iowa Synod Council and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America:
-Condemns racism, white supremacy, and all acts of injustice against Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
-Seeds of Faith is committed

to the love and welcome of all people. Jesus’ love was and is unconditional for the whole world and God asks us to love in this same way. Therefore, Seeds is dedicated to the long-haul process of dismantling racism and white supremacy from our lives, our communities, and our nation’s systems and institutions.

Our final night of Rooted Youth Group 25-26 had us playing games at the LBC! It's been a great year of faith, community, and fun. We're so thankful for all the volunteers who made Rooted happen this year, from cooks, servers, clean-up crew, and small group leaders who guided our amazing youth. Of course we wouldn't be Rooted without our faithful group of kids and parents, thank YOU for creating this welcoming communtiy of love and grace.
We said 'good-bye and blessings' to our 8th graders with a send-off prayer and ended the way we always do, with a song.
