Good morning.
Have you ever heard anyone ask God if He was crazy? I watched a video one time in which God was asked this. The man's name was David Ring, he is an evangelist that travels everywhere preaching the gospel. He brings a good message and it's helped many come to the saving Grace of God. However, when God first called him into the ministry, he asked God if He was crazy. You see David has Cerebral Palsy. Yet God wasn't crazy, He saw in David what David could not see in himself. In the video he told of explaining to God why he couldn't do this saying, "I have Cerebral Palsy." As if God didn't know. Yet, God knew that he had a heart of love and that even though some will doubt David as he walks and talks differently than most, that he will reach some, "many" through his ministry.
This reminds me of the time when Jesus fed thousands with a young boy's lunch. The food came not from the abundance of the lunch, but God's blessing. On Sunday morning. We will learn more about this, but we must understand that God can use us no matter what. And when we're willing to be used, He will bless our effort.
Where would the Israelites be if Moses while making excuses why he couldn't lead them out of Egypt, had not tried? Or where will others be if we say to the Lord I can't? We can't, but God can. So seek what God wants you to do, then step out on faith and let God do the increase. Wouldn't it be terrible if someone misses out on Heaven due to us? God knew about David's Cerebral Palsy, and He knows of our excuses as well. But His grace is sufficient. So go into the world and make disciples of all people. You'll be amazed at what God can do!
Have a blessed day. Jim
