🍂 SEPTEMBER IS A NEW SEASON 🍂

A new month doesn’t mean everything suddenly gets easier, but it can remind us that God is still working, we’re still growing, and our recovery story is still being written.

This September, let’s remember:

S — Surrender your past and step into God’s plan.
E — Embrace change and trust His timing.
P — Persevere through challenges with faith.
T — Thank God for every blessing, big and small.
E — Encourage others and build up the body of Christ.
M — Make time for prayer, worship, and His Word.
B — Believe God is working even when you can’t see it.
E — Extend grace to yourself and to others.
R — Rest in His promises and rejoice in your new life.

Recovery is not about having everything figured out. It’s about continuing to take the next right step with Jesus and your Forever Family beside you.

📖 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Whatever August looked like, September is another opportunity to keep moving forward.

Okay guys, we need your help!

Linn Celebrate Recovery has been feeding the homeless shelter in Jeff lunch once a month, my kids and I just took it Saturday for the first time, and we decided we’re going to be doing that once a month..

I scheduled July 11th next month to do lunch, however I didn’t realize I would be picking my kids up from summer camp.. I made the executive decision that instead of trying to change it, we would just order pizza and have it delivered. I’m SURE the residents would love and appreciate this.

We also will be collecting donations of prepackaged snacks, and hygiene items to donate as well.

Come on y’all, let’s do something really cool & help spread God’s love. ❤️

The kids and I are heading to the homeless shelter in Jeff to feed them lunch, obviously repping linn Celebrate Recovery ❤️ -Jess
