Good Morning, Trinity! ☀️

Our parking lot has decided it needed a little spa treatment this week! (It wanted to look good for the 125th Anniversary) It’s getting a fresh seal coat, so if you’re planning to stop by the church, please park in the west parking lot or along the street.

The lot is expected to reopen on Thursday.

Monday at Klein Ranch means one thing…the youth get to meet their horses! The horses had a great time taking the youth for a tour of the north pasture. Yeehaw! K.P.(kitchen parties after each meal), chores, riding horses, Bible study, worship and kickball filled our day. The sun has set and it’s time for bed as another day of adventures await our campers…

What to do on a Sunday morning? Meet at church at 5 am, load up the van, and head to Klein Ranch. Yeehaw! The vans rides were fun, crazy. and a few youth even took naps. The youth are excited to be here and looking forward to a day filled with adventures on Monday. Stayed tuned and keep us in your prayers.

The last day of “Out of the world with Jesus!” VBS! Excitement, energy, laughter, crazy fun and yummy snacks! Just like the magi who followed the star, God places people into our lives to teach us about Jesus so we can follow him.

We are grateful: for all the kids who came to play and pray, for the LPBC counselors who were part of the week in many ways, to all the middle and high school youth and adult volunteers for their energy , to our kitchen crew who prepared our snacks, to many others who helped before to get things ready, and to all who helped plan the week! It was amazing and filled with the Spirit! Naps are good. God answers prayers.
It was a week where everyone was a star that shined with God’s love.

It’s a wrap! “Out of this world with Jesus!” Vacation Bible School was a blast! It was an amazing week of fun, learning, playing and praying, being with friends and making new friends. Thanks to the LPBC counselors, all the middle and high school volunteers and adults who made this a reality! God is good…all the time! More pictures to come.

VBS: Day 4 and it’s Thursday. The campers are a moving a bit slower, but soon, they found their energy! Today they heard the story “Old Turtle” and created a Psalm with their movements. They made hand aliens in a ship, rockets that launched pompoms, played games, and had ice cream for snack! After lunch …fizzy moon rocks and paper airplanes. The kids loved as the wind lifted the planes. One more day…let’s pray for fun, safety, and God’s love as it fills our hearts. God is good! All the time!

Rain, rain, go away ….so we can play! We made it through Day 3 at VBS! The rain didn’t stop us from playing, praying, being crazy, having fun and talking about aliens (foreigners and neighbors everywhere). We are all different in many ways and loved and created by God. The Good Samaritan reminds us that we need to take care of one another no matter what. We have two more days of amazing fun! Keep us in your prayers! Thanks to all who help each day.
