Harley Pastor & Founder Lighthouse of Deliverance Gospel Church received Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of sixteen. After graduating from high school, he enlisted with the U.S. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Navy, Pastor Harley married his high school sweetheart, Donna, in June 1979. His strong family values come from his parents, Norman and Anna Ruth Harley. He is the thir
d child and the eldest son of the Harley Family. He is the father of two daughters, Chantel and Danielle Harley. He believes that a family that prays together stays together. Pastor Harley’s strong leadership came from the late William L. King of Calvary United Church of Christ, the late Elder Otis T. Massey of Sanctuary C.O.G.I.C, the late Elder Rueben Hawkins of Prayer & Praise Temple C.O.G.I.C. Hines of St. Sinai Full Gospel Ministries. In 1994 the Lord spoke to Pastor Harley concerning pastoring, but he refused to accept the call. He felt he was inadequate, unworthy and lacked the ability of a Pastor. The Lord let this man of God know that it wasn’t his ability, but his availability that would allow him to be equipped and filled with the anointing needed to Pastor. Integrity and proper leadership are very important to Pastor Harley. As such, Pastor Harley sought the Lord for mentorship after Apostle Hines departed from this life. God opened the heart of Reverend Eric A. Lambert, Jr. of Bethel Deliverance International Church, who is pouring into the life of Pastor Harley great leadership. Pastor Harley is known in Lindenwold, New Jersey and surrounding communities as a pastor who teaches and preaches an uncompromising word, a word that challenges one’s faith, and a word that promotes lifestyles that conform to the will of God. Both he and his wife have facilitated marriage enrichment seminars and retreats. They are called upon to counsel troubled marriages and have demonstrated that prayer and faith with a determination to work produces a wholesome and healthy relationship. With a background in Construction Management, Pastor Harley has utilized his skills as a tent maker in helping other churches move into excellence. He considers himself a masterbuilder, "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon."
