Our Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. We affirm that the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God, and that its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It contains all that is needed for guidance in godliness and practical Christian conduct. We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. The Word of God declares clearly that salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the death of His Son, and is appropriated by faith. Salvation is effected by personal repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification), and personal acceptance of Him into one’s life as Lord and Savior (regeneration). The new life in Christ includes the privileges of adoption and inheritance in the kingdom of God’s beloved Son. Salvation is an act of free will in response to God’s personal love for mankind. It is predestined only in the sense that God, through His omniscience, foreknew those who would choose Him. Salvation should produce an active lifestyle of loving obedience and service to Jesus Christ our Savior. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world. We believe that the mission of S.T.U.D.Y.S. Ministries is to: 1) Win souls for the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Reconciliation) – 2 Cor. 5:17-19, 2) Restore those in the body of Christ who have been spiritually wounded or overtaken in a fault (Restoration) – Gal. 6:1, and 3) Make disciples of all nations, equipping them for the work of the ministry (Reproduction) – Mat. 28:19-20, Eph. 4:12, Mat. 9:37.
