So, you’ve made up your mind, you’re NOT going to church this weekend but to other places to do other things! Ok. Cool. Let’s have a word of prayer before you go.
Hummmmn, so much to pray for.......should I pray that:
1. Your car breaks down on your way to IHOP in the morning
2. Your pancakes are cold & your sausage is old
3.Should I pray that..... Uber won’t answer the phone when you call for a ride.
4. Should I pray that.....while your “sleeping in” during service time that the springs on your bed 🛏 collapse and the mattress falls to the floor and wakes you up & startles you so you fall out of the bed on the wrong side.
5. That lightning strikes the satellite dish outside of your house knocking out all of your cable channels.
6. That when you go to sit in the family room to “relax” while church is in progress, that Rent A Center makes a mistake and comes and takes all the furniture out of your family room so you have to sit on the floor and watch your blank TV screen.
7. Should I pray that..... the mall & the movie theatre both are closed for renovation.
8. Should I pray that.....all the holes on the golf course are mysteriously filled with concrete.
9. That the spa says they are overbooked and can’t give you a massage until July 4th.
10. I HOPE THAT YOU KNOW I’M BEING HUMOROUS, HOWEVER I DO PRAY THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AND DECIDE TO GO TO CHURCH (IN-HOUSE) AND PRAISE GOD FOR DYING FOR YOUR SINS AND MINE AND HIS Resurrection!!
Almighty God is worthy and....deserves it.
