Good morning brothers and sisters! Thank you for joining us on this beautiful Sunday morning to learn about God!

When danger strikes, most people instinctively move away from it. Yet first responders do the opposite. Firefighters, police officers, and paramedics run toward the very scenes others are fleeing. They enter burning buildings, approach violent situations, and kneel beside the injured in chaotic moments. This response is unexpected because it goes against basic human instinct.
Today God calls us to be spiritual first responders when we see people in trouble because of sin.

Good morning brothers and sisters! Thank you for joining us on this beautiful Sunday morning to learn about God!

Some churches teach that if a person follows God, God responds by granting prosperity and peace, as would only be expected. Today we see how that is nonsense. The Bible explains that if we are part of the Church of God, we will have to bear crosses. We carry our crosses because we know that in those moments of struggle, we are forced to turn to Christ and rely on his strength.

Good morning brothers and sisters! Thank you for joining us on this beautiful Sunday morning to learn about God!

Jesus asked, “Who do you say I am?” It’s the most important question in the world, and it is a question every human being must answer. Jesus is a real human being, the Son of Man. He is also Lord and Savior, the Son of the living God. This unexpected truth is the core of saving faith.

“All are welcome!” Is that true at our church? Or is church meant only for people of the right heritage who behave the right way, “good church folk”? Join us for worship as Jesus shows us the church is for all people–regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, or social status.

Good morning brothers and sisters! Thank you for joining us on this beautiful Sunday morning to learn about God!

Wherever faith clings to the promises of God, doubt is always lingering. People doubt God’s care, God’s promises, or God’s providence.

The answer to doubt is not found in loud, dramatic demonstrations. The true answer to doubt is found in the still small voice of our Savior God whispering to us in his Word. Through Word and sacrament, Christ reaches out to us with nail-scarred hands, proof of his great love. Our faith is restored.

The Bible says Christians are different. Christians are people who believe in Jesus as their Savior. But they often look the same as those who do not believe in Jesus, so how are they different?

We invite you to worship with us next week as we discover the answer to this question and more!

Life is full of either/or moments. Some of them are of little long-term consequence. I will have either the chicken or the fish. Some of them matter more. I will accept the new job offer or keep my current job. One either/or moment is life-changing for every human being. Either Jesus is still dead, or Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus claimed he would rise from the dead. “The Son of Man must suffer many things. . . be killed and after three days rise again” (Mark 8:31). So if Jesus remains dead, he is both a failure and a fraud. If Christ has not been raised, we are still in our sin. But Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! It makes all the difference! He lives! The season of Easter is a 50- day celebration of that fact.

Here’s our Holy Week Schedule:
Holy Thursday (4/2)- 6:30pm
Good Friday (4/3)- 6:30pm
Easter Sunday (4/5)- 10:30am
Easter breakfast 9:15am
