Called by 𝗚𝗢𝗗

We have ALL been called by 𝗚𝗢𝗗 to use OUR time, talents and abilities for good.

But what if WE partnered with 𝗚𝗢𝗗
over & over again, asking more questions, and sought after more guidance?

What hidden talents & abilities could WE develop then? How far & wide could they expand?

YOU can become so much more with 𝗚𝗢𝗗.

When YOU liken the scriptures unto YOU- YOU might see that the messages shared could apply to YOU even if the situations shared are different than YOURS.

𝗚𝗢𝗗 wants YOU to pray for personal revelation to bring forth a marvelous work in YOU, to contribute to YOURSELF, YOUR family, friend, community, and society, helping to create a heaven felt place around YOU.

When others see or feel this, it creates a wondering.

One in which YOU can share that all good gifts come from 𝗚𝗢𝗗, and this can open hearts to share the gospel of 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 and the marvelous work & wonder 𝗚𝗢𝗗 has in store.

Remember- ONE person’s touch of love & caring, as 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 would, illuminates.

So expand YOUR talents & abilities ASK 𝗚𝗢𝗗: WHO WHERE WHAT HOW WHEN and share YOUR love & light.

𝗚𝗼𝗱 “𝗳𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀”
Satan “stirs”

𝗚𝗢𝗗 frosts to protect US, spreading love & light, giving gifts of the 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 to endure and spread love & light to others.

Satan stirs the pot to cause contention & confusion in the hopes of pulling US away from the 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗢𝗗.

Section 10 shares the attributes of GOD & Satan. Here is a list I made from the words written in this section.

Satan vs. 𝗚𝗢𝗗

Tempts vs. Gives Wisdom
Flatters vs. Enlightens
Darkness vs. Light
Seeks to destroy vs. Brings Hope
Lies vs. Truth
Drags vs. Lifts
Ensnares vs. Seeks to help
Destroys Souls vs. Redeems Souls
Hardens hearts vs. Softens hearts
Encourages anger vs. Encourages love
Cunning plans vs. Eternal plans
Wickedness vs. Righteousness
Evil deeds vs. Good deeds
Shamed vs. Shows compassion

Likening the scriptures to YOU & I, WE could read that Satan and his servants seek to destroy YOU & I and take away the things YOU & I have been entrusted with by GOD, such as 𝗚𝗢𝗗 given talents, gifts of the 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁, and covenants made with 𝗚𝗢𝗗.

𝗚𝗢𝗗 wants to protect YOU & I from Satan’s evil snare, encouraging YOU & I to seek guidance from 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 to bring faithful works to serve people and spread the gospel of 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵

I created this Conference Doodle May 2020 while I listened to the LDS General Conference talk, 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, given by Henry B. Eyring.

I really loved this talk.
It actually brought me to tears.

It testifies of 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧, the restoration of the gospel, & that 𝗚𝗢𝗗 speaks to people who pray.

WE can ask in 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 to know answers to OUR questions.

WE can ask for forgiveness.

WE can pray to have eyes to see others as 𝗚𝗢𝗗 does.

WE can also pray for hearts to be softened, to come to know & feel 𝗛𝗜𝗦 love.

𝗛𝗘 will lead YOU/ME/OTHERS to next steps.

This will happen in little increments, in some ways we cannot imagine or comprehend & other times as a whisper that is plain & clear.

As WE listen and “go & do” acting on the answers WE received, more inspiration & revelation will come.

I know WE are united with the heavens & with many others worldwide that believe in 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 and 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺 for guidance in next steps,healing & comfort
and for 𝗚𝗢𝗗 to perform mighty miracles in THEIR lives.

I had an experience recently running into a faithful woman I had not seen in a year.
She asked me how I was doing.
I told her I’ve been experiencing health problems. She asked, Can I pray for you?

I replied yes, thinking she would add me to her prayers when she got home,but instead she started praying right there, in the middle of a very public & busy place.

I felt her faith. Faith I would not have felt if she would have been praying at home.

She didn’t say a short prayer. Her words were very thoughtful & I felt her sincerity as she communed with the 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗 on my behalf. At one point, she put her hands on my head.

Through her 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, I felt the love of 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧. Peace and comfort washed over me.

I felt the words, “𝗛𝗘 will lift US so WE can rise” as shared in this talk.

MANY PEOPLE are using their faith, energy, talents & abilities to serve & share 𝗚𝗢𝗗, and 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧’𝘀 atoning sacrifice, because of the blessing THEY have received.

Pray & ask to pray for someone today.

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸

In an effort to make the scriptures come alive, I thought I’d insert my name as I read.

Maybe you’d like to insert YOUR name too.

For example:

“Behold, (𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘), I [the 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗] have spoken unto YOU because of YOUR desires; therefore treasure up these words in YOUR heart. Be faithful & diligent in keeping the commandments of 𝗚𝗢𝗗, and 𝗜 will encircle YOU in the arms of 𝗠𝗬 love.” 6:20

“(𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘) verily, verily, I say unto YOU, that assuredly as the 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗 liveth, who is YOUR 𝗚𝗢𝗗 and YOUR 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥, even so surely shall YOU receive a knowledge of whatsoever things YOU shall ask in faith, with an “honest heart, believing that YOU shall receive a knowledge concerning…”

“But, behold, I say unto YOU, that YOU must study it out in YOUR mind; then YOU must ask 𝗠𝗘 if it be right, and if it is right 𝗜 will cause that YOUR bosom to burn within YOU; therefore, YOU shall feel that it is right. But if it be not right YOU shall have no such feelings, but YOU shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause YOU to forget the thing which is wrong; therefore, YOU cannot [do] that which is sacred save it be given YOU from me.”

Each of US has been called to do the 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 that is needed to do 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 with 𝗚𝗢𝗗.

These scriptures testify of that.

Each of my children have a natural ability, something innate, not something I taught them, but something they love deeply that the others don’t. It’s as if they were born with this gift and called to do something special with it.

I like to think of this as their soul work - something that pulls them to 𝗚𝗢𝗗 to help them progress, to help others or beautify the world.

𝗚𝗢𝗗 wants each of US to 𝘢𝘴𝘬, 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬, & 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬 to develop OUR gifts too.
