Does changing our sport of barrel racing into a mighty army for God interest anybody? If your answer to this question is “Yes,” then this ministry is for you. Take an additional step, a step up, and rather than simply attending Road 2 Glory events, start praying now for what God would have you to do, through your prayer support, financial support, and becoming part of an R2G ministry team. This is
the scripture I am standing on:
Ezekiel 37: 9 = Then He said to me, "Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. Speak a prophetic message and say, 'this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.'" 10 So I spoke the message as He commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet - a great army. I am believing for well over 100 people to come - men and women - teenagers - even small children. Anyone and everyone can get this vision. I believe that the God of the Universe is going to breathe a breath of life into our barrel racing communities through those who will:
1) Stand Up = there is a time in everybody's life when standing up is important - it becomes important for you to be the one to stand up for what is right. It also becomes important for those around you - because they could be waiting on someone else to be the first to make a stand. We will never - I mean NEVER - be able to make enough rules concerning the use of drugs in our sport to really eliminate their use. The only thing I can see changing this course of "win at any cost" in barrel racing is to see the lives of these people changed by the power of a living and loving God who can and will respond to the needs of His people. You can be the one God uses to turn your group- your community around.
2) Speak Up = there are times when silence is golden - but there are times when it is just plain yellow. When you speak of Him, you then become identified with Him. In being identified with Him - you loose your life - but in loosing your life - you gain your life. This seems to be a paradox, but in the Kingdom of God it is a foundational principle. We are all called to fill our place - you might ask - "What place is that?" - " How do I do that?" Answering those questions is a part of what a Road 2 Glory is about. God doesn't call those who know what to do - He calls the ones who have to ask - "God, how do I do this?" or "How can I afford to do this?" and then let Him provide the answers. Remember this, it's not all about you - it's about HIM! As you pray, please include the following in your prayers:
Pray for these people - Carolyn Steidley, Penny Conway, Lynn McKenzie, Crystie Kneip and Murray McKenzie. Pray for impartation, for revelation and for rejuvenation - pray for the protection of all those who are coming plus their families - their finances - their time. Pray for God to have His way according to His Word. I will tell you right up front what I believe - The BIBLE - I believe it all - I believe it just the way it's written - I believe that JESUS is a name above every name - I believe in the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I'm praying and believing for God to show up and do His thing as only He can do it - and - I believe women can and should preach. I've seen too many anointed women of God stand in the pulpit and preach and teach the word of God powerfully for it not to be God. I hope and pray that I would be considered a radical Christian - I pray that there would be enough evidence to convict me of that if I were ever taken into a court of law. I want to be a radical praiser - a radical worshiper - I want to follow after Jesus in such a way that me just being in the same room (the same barrel race - the same organization) with them - affects them. Didn't Peter's shadow heal the sick? Absolutely!! You cannot show me anywhere in the Bible - anybody's Bible - that miracles have passed away and are not for today. Why would I believe that anyway - because miracles are happening all the time. LET'S COME EXPECTING TO BE CHANGED INTO HIS LIKENESS!! COME EXPECTING TO SEE THE POWER OF GOD WORKING IN AND THROUGH YOUR LIFE!! YOU'LL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!!
