Hey, Vineyard,

What are you going to do to follow through on the energy of early summer, when we were all hyped up and outraged by the way people of color are mistreated by our political authorities?

Some of you may want to educate yourselves, some of you may want to figure out what you can do to make a difference.

Breaking Down Walls and Building Relationships has two small groups that you can still jump into this fall.

Clips & Conversations will feature talks and sermons on racial injustice and becoming anti-racist.

Acts & Conversations will help you take action steps to do something concrete.

Someone once wrote, "We will be the same 10 years from now except for the books we read and the people we meet." I would add movies and the media to the list. Nonetheless, we have a responsibility to drop our preconceived notions & false narratives develop relationships with people who don't look , talk, or act like us. We need to listen more, talk less, and try to understand the plight of others. Consider this and decide today...What will be the steps I will take? Start Today!!!

Join Vineyard and many other churches in a peaceful march in Rogers Park tonight!

Reminder: We are marching in peaceful protest on Monday at 6:00pm starting at Willye B. White Park. Please join us! We’ll meet in front of L.A. Fitness in the Jewel Plaza on Howard and Clark a little before 6pm so we can walk together as a group.
