We will begin a very important Bible study next Sunday. The Elders and Pastor Stahlecker strongly urge all members to attend.
The email message sent by Pastor explains it well:

I would like to encourage you all to be actively involved in the "God's Mission Here" studies on either Sunday morning or afternoon for the four weeks of January and 1st Sunday of February. It is important in the direction of the congregation. I am copying the message from the bulletin for this past Sunday.

God's Mission Here - During the first five weeks of 2026 we will utilize this Bible study prepared by Synod to help us take a look at the work, mission and direction of our congregation. President Panzer has requested all the congregations of Circuit 9 to use this study to consider God's Word, discuss our past, present, and future ministry, and to appraise our situation in this place to help us consider future directions. Study will happen at 9:30 on Sunday morning (15 minutes earlier than normal) and at 5:00 on Sunday afternoon/evening. Please plan to attend one of the sessions each week.

If you have heard the announcements the last few weeks in church, this serves as a reminder. If you have not caught these announcements then it serves as an invitation to participate in this important study, discussion and appraisal of the congregation as we consider the Lord's work in this place.

Please also remember that we will have Installation of Officers on Sunday, January 4th, with a Covered Dish Meal after the Divine Service.

Peace be with you!

On this day, October 31, 1517:
Martin Luther posts his Ninety-Five Theses on the door of the Wittenberg Church, challenging the sale of indulgences and calling for debate. The document spreads rapidly, sparking the Protestant Reformation and renewing the church’s commitment to the truth that salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Christus), according to Scripture alone (Sola Scriptura), to the glory of God alone (Soli Deo Gloria).

This is news that ties in with the Reformation. The Adult class at 9:45 on Sunday mornings is a study of the Augsburg Confession. Fascinating early Church documents that are based on the Bible. Join us if you can, we are only a couple lessons into the series.
