Baptism is an outward testimony of an inward transformation. And this morning we had the honor of witnessing the baptism of Tyson Bishop and Ezra Martinez. What a blessing it was to hear and see them boldly proclaim, “Jesus saved me!”

Tyson and Ezra, we pray you know you have a whole church who stands behind you as begin your journey in faith. We are so excited to see you grow in your walk with the Lord. May you always cling to Him as you walk through life.

“Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.”

Our Sunday School Ministry is putting on an Outdoor Adventure Day this Saturday. There’s fun for the whole family! Fishing, playing in the creek, a great time of fellowship, and food! Today we had the honor of witnessing the baptism of Sara Brown and Brantley Brown. These two attended our VBS this year and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Sara and Brantley, we are excited for the both of you as begin your walk in faith. We as a church are standing behind you in prayer and encouragement on this journey! Congratulations to the both of you!

MBC families, you’re invited to go to Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville on July 25th! We will be meeting at the church at 8am to ride the church bus together, or you can follow behind so we arrive all at the same time. Here’s a few things you need to know!

🦓 Please make sure to pack you a bagged lunch, we will be bringing coolers to keep them in.

🦒 The church is paying for admission, but we need a headcount due to them only accepting cash. With that being said it is crucial that you sign up in the foyer by July 19th so we are able to pay for you. We will be doing the wagon ride so we need an accurate count.

🐄 Make sure to bring a smile and be ready to have some fun!! 😄

The JOY Ministry is taking a trip this week to Dan’l Boone Inn Restaurant. If you are planning to attend, please be at the church at 8am on July 10th to ride the church bus.

🎳 Youth bowling night is coming up Saturday July 11th! We hope you come join us for a time of fun and fellowship! Everything is provided by the church, including food! 🙂 If you do plan on attending please let Pastor Kris know by Wednesday so we can get a headcount as we have to pay in cash at the bowling alley. We will be meeting at the church to ride the van together at 5pm. Please remember to wear socks or bring a pair with you. We’re looking forward to having some fun! 🤩
