Smiles. Tears. Hearts full. ❤️

Experiencing God.

This weekend’s marriage conference in Pigeon Forge with Nathan Grooms Ministries and Father’s Vineyard of Spindale was truly something special.

Reading through the comments from so many of the attendees has been such a blessing. Hearing how God met them right where they were, encouraged their marriages, and spoke directly to their hearts reminds us why we do what we do.

We are so thankful for every couple who joined us this weekend and for the ways God moved in their marriages. What a beautiful weekend of connection, encouragement, laughter, tears, and experiencing God together. ❤️

Until next time, NGM!

Before this day ends...

Put the phones down.
Sit face-to-face.
Take ten quiet minutes.

And tell your spouse one thing you truly appreciate about the way they love you.

The goal isn't performance. It’s presence.

The Smoky Mountains feel a little different this week.

As couples gather in Pigeon Forge for The Quest for Intimacy, we are mindful that we enter a community carrying grief.
Sometimes loss has a way of quieting life’s noise and reminding us of what matters most.

So today, while the day is ours:
I love you.
I’m sorry.
I forgive you.
I need you.
I’m grateful for you.

Hold close the people you love.

Remembering Dolly — and holding close those who grieve her passing.
We are grateful to Father’s Vineyard in Spindale, North Carolina, for inviting Nathan Grooms Ministries to facilitate The Quest for Intimacy Marriage Retreat here in Pigeon Forge this weekend.

Our prayer is that couples will slow down, listen deeply, extend grace freely, and treasure the sacred gift of one another.

Serving your spouse isn’t about keeping score—it’s about choosing humility, selflessness, and honor. ❤️

Romans 12:9–10 reminds us to love genuinely, “outdo one another in showing honor,” and put others before ourselves.

What would happen in your marriage if you stopped asking, “What am I getting?” and started asking, “How can I serve my spouse today?”

Marriage gets stronger when two people are committed to loving, serving, and honoring each other—not competing for who gives more.

Our words don’t begin with our mouths—they begin in our hearts.

Jesus reminds us that “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). If our words are constantly criticizing, belittling, or tearing down our spouse, it’s worth asking the Lord to search our own hearts before pointing fingers.

Scripture tells us that “death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). Every conversation is an opportunity to either build up or break down the person God has entrusted to us. Healthy marriages aren’t built by perfect people—they’re built by husbands and wives who continually surrender their hearts to Christ and allow Him to transform the way they speak.

💍 This week’s Monday Marriage Minute is a reminder to let your words bring life, grace, and encouragement into your marriage.

📖 If you want to grow deeper in your relationship, check out The Quest for Intimacy by Nathan Grooms, available on Amazon. It offers biblical insight into the three essential facets of intimacy: spiritual, emotional, and physical intimacy, helping couples pursue the kind of marriage God designed.

What would happen if you truly surrendered every part of your life to God?

A stronger marriage doesn’t begin with changing your spouse—it begins with allowing God to change you. When we surrender our hearts, our plans, our pride, and our expectations to Him, He begins to shape us into spouses who love with more grace, patience, and humility.

God’s Word isn’t just meant to be read—it’s meant to transform us. As we seek Him first, our marriages become healthier because we’re learning to love the way Christ loves us.

This week, take one step toward full surrender. Open His Word, spend time in prayer, and invite Him into every area of your marriage. He is faithful to do what only He can.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6 🤍
