“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.” — Luke 24:5–6

This Resurrection Sunday, we celebrate more than an empty tomb—we celebrate a living Savior. Jesus is alive, and because He lives, hope is not dead in any area of our lives… including our marriages.

Where there has been hurt, He brings healing. Where there has been distance, He restores connection. Where there has been silence, He speaks life again. The same power that raised Christ from the grave is available to breathe new life into our covenant.

Marriage was never meant to be sustained by human strength alone—it flourishes when surrendered to a risen King. Today is a reminder that no story is too far gone, no heart too hardened, and no relationship beyond redemption.

The tomb is empty. He is not here—He is alive.

And because He lives, hope lives in our marriages too.

Good Friday reminds us that love isn’t proven in ease—but in sacrifice.

“It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land… ‘Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.’” (Luke 23)
In the darkest moment, He still trusted the Father.

“He was pierced for our transgressions… by His wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53)
Healing came through suffering—not around it.

“It is finished.” (John 19:30)
Not defeated—completed. Redemption, secured.

“But God demonstrates His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Love that shows up even when it’s not deserved.

“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us…” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
The great exchange—His righteousness for our brokenness.

And if this is the power of the cross… then resurrection power isn’t just for eternity—it’s for today.

It means hope can be resurrected in weary marriages.
Understanding can rise again where there’s been misunderstanding.
Patience can breathe where frustration once lived.
Grace can rebuild what pride tried to tear down.

Because the same Jesus who endured the cross didn’t stay in the grave—and He is still restoring, still renewing, still making things new.

Good Friday isn’t the end of the story.
And maybe… it’s not the end of yours either. ✝️
