Our youth enjoyed their fall retreat this weekend with BeDoTell in the mountains. 🍁

They learned about God’s redeeming, redirecting, restoring, and revitalizing grace through the gospel of John. No matter how lost we may be, we can surrender to Jesus and receive His grace.

Keep your eyes on Jesus! 👀

⭐️Member Spotlight - Neal Rhyne⭐️

Today, we’re excited to recognize one of our faithful members, Neal Rhyne! Neal plays an important role in the success of our First Baptist Weekday Children’s Ministry. As chairman of the board, he helps ensure our preschool ministry runs smoothly and continues to thrive.

Beyond his leadership in the Children’s Ministry, Neal faithfully serves as an usher and is always willing to lend a hand during funerals and other special events throughout our church.

Neal, thank you for the time, heart, and dedication you give to our church family. We are so grateful for the way you serve First Baptist and His Kingdom!

This past Sunday, several of our church members came together to prepare and serve a wonderful meal for our congregation after worship.

Whether you donated a dessert, manned the grill, prepared food, served, cleaned up, or helped in another way…thank you!

We are so thankful for the many hands that make moments like these possible!

From teaching and mentoring to leading, visiting, encouraging, and guiding, pastors give so much of their time, energy, and heart to their churches and the people they serve.

During the month of October, we take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication, sacrifice, and faithful service that this call requires. Thank you!
