It was such a JOY to see so many children in Church this morning! Reminder that Kids United will meet on 8/16 from 4-6....we'll have snacks, pizza and movies. Thank you to Katie Bridges for all your hard work to make this a fun event for the kids each month!

Today in the LIFE of our amazing Church we welcomed our NEW Pastor, Rev Jennifer Hampton and her sons Edwin & Bo to our Family. It was a wonderful day filled with awarding the Jean Dellinger Scholarships, music, a wonderful Sermon from Pastor Jennifer, yummy pot luck meal & lots of Fellowship! Thank you to everyone who help today with the Service & the potluck! It was truly a great day!

Hello Boger City,
Starting July 1st, you will be under new Pastoral leadership. Pastor Jennifer Hampton will become your new Pastor, and Susan and I are praying for a smooth transition for both the church and for Pastor Jennifer.
Know that we are praying for all of you and we wanted to tell you how much we appreciated your love and support over these last five years. You have blessed us and cared for us as much as we have tried to bless you and care for you.
We pray for God's grace and mercy to cover you as you transition into your next phase of ministry at Boger City UMC and we hope it will be the best one yet.
Thanks again for being who you are, a loving, caring, church filled with wonderful people of God.
May God continue to bless you and keep you and may his face smile upon you and may he give you his peace. Keep striving.

The Celebration of Life for Kevin Harless will be tomorrow, Monday, June 22, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Pastor Ronnie will be officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.

To the beautiful people of Boger City UMC. Susan and I want to thank you for your love and support over the last five years. We hope and pray that you were as blessed as we were in being your servant leaders during this time. The picture below was taken after we first got to the church, and I have grown a bit in more ways than one as I look at this picture.
You are some awesome people, and I know Pastor Jennifer will feel the same way about you as she prepares to become your new servant leader.
So again, thank you, for your gifts, cards, your presents, your presence, your love, and support, the fellowship and time we spent together, and for putting up with this bald-headed preacher from Denver, NC.
We are grateful for having served among you these last five years.

Today was definitely one of those days that we will all remember in the life of our Church. It was a great celebration of Pastor Ronnie & Susan's time with us. You both will be missed & will always be with us as we move forward. Thank you for loving us & guiding us for the last 5 years. We love you both! ❤️....also a special thank you to Lisa Nedrow Garrison for the hard work & effort to replace our green paraments, they are beyond beautiful-thank you thank you for all you do.

And that's a wrap on this year's VBS! We ended our week with an amazing Family Night! Thank you to everyone who participated in any way. And let us always remember our mission of love. God loves us so...Love Each Other!
