Thank you to the stewards who have already set up their pledges for our 2026 "Rise Up and Build" stewardship campaign. To date, we thank the 316 families that have pledged $503,000 as well as generously offer their time and talents to this Parish! Stewardship is the lifeblood of our Parish. As of this week, we are at 70% of our budgeted 2026 stewardship target of $720,000.

If you have yet to submit your pledge card for our 2026, please prayerfully consider how you can support Ascension with your time, talent, and treasures and either pledge online, or print and bring the stewardship time/talents/treasures form with you to church.

ANNOUNCING VCS SUMMER 2026!

REGISTRATION IS OPEN! Ascension is excited to announce the theme of this summer's Vacation Church School: "LEVEL UP! Equip the Full Armor of God" which will take place July 27-31. The week-long program is designed for rising Kindergarteners through 8th graders, and will focus on how to equip ourselves for spiritual struggle by strengthening ourselves as St. Paul tells us in Ephesians 6. SATURDAY OF SOULS is Saturday, May 30, the Saturday preceding Pentecost. Please submit names of your departed loved ones by completing a form in the Narthex, visiting the link below, or calling the office so that Fr. Sotiri can pray for them at the Trisagion following Orthros & Divine Liturgy on that Saturday.

MEMORIAL DAY GRAVE BLESSINGS - Fr. Sotiri will conduct Trisagion Services on Monday, May 25 at Ridgewood Cemetery from 11 – 12:30 p.m. Please call the church office to arrange. Also that day, at the request of the Village of Lincolnshire, Father will lead the Invocation & Benediction for the Lincolnshire Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. at Spring Lake Park (49 Oxford Drive).
