Today, Lincoln Lutheran's middle school service day was a resounding success. Twelve students and a teacher joined forces to make a tangible difference at Redeemer. Before diving into their tasks, I took a moment to get to know each of them, and it was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and dedication. Together, we divvied up responsibilities and tackled a range of projects. The students demonstrated their capabilities and teamwork, achieving impressive results.
They meticulously cleaned out the sheds in the playground area, dusted the front of the children's chapel, and restocked the Blessing Box with non-perishable food for those in need. Additionally, they sharpened pencils, moved tables, and even started crafting decorations for our upcoming Vacation Bible School.
To celebrate their hard work, we enjoyed ice cream, sandwiches, and popsicles with carbonated Sunny D, capping off the day with a heartwarming group photo, students even wanted Arlo in the picture who loved on the kids today. It's always a pleasure to collaborate with the students from Lincoln Lutheran and hear about their experiences. This day is a shining example of the positive impact that can be achieved when we work together towards a common goal. Always to the glory of Christ.
