Several members of Zion attended our Synod Assembly last weekend. During the gathering, we conducted synod business, heard from and learned from leaders of our church, and met new people. Pictured with us are our Synodical Bishop, Rev. Scott A. Johnson, and our ELCA Presiding Bishop, Rev. Yehiel Curry.

A couple of weeks ago, our confirmation class ended the year with a lock-in celebration. As part of the lock-in, the students divided up and provided service time to two members in our congregation who could use some help. Service work helps us spread the love of God into the world by using the gifts, talents, and skills God has given each of us.

A blessed Easter from us at Zion.

We are blessed to have a great congregation come together for Holy Week. During the Easter service, we welcomed nine new members into our congregation. We are grateful to our new members' sponsors, who walked with them throughout our catechumenate program.
