Girls fish camp is coming to a close. What a joyous time it has been! So much laughter, smiles, and joy! We studied the Psalms together and focused specifically on how to pray during seasons of lament. We finished with creating this Lamentation Declaration based on Psalm 30. “Though weeping may last through the night, though it seems you have hidden your face, though I can feel your anger….YET it is but for a moment and joy comes in the morning. You have lifted me up and healed me. You have turned my mourning into dancing. God you are merciful to me, faithful, restorer, and worthy to be praised. You, Oh Yahweh, have enabled me to continue to praise without becoming silent and to stand strong.”
