Youth Ministry Outreach Should INSPIRE Our Youth to Greatness...

For over 15 years, Missionary Felicia Bowe and I hosted Youth Summer Camp from our home that featured Biblical Teaching, Homiletics, Music, and Worship! Friday's was always "Fun Day Fridays", It did not mean they did not learn, it was just a break from ministry study!

In July of 2016, we took the kids to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore! Fun Day was always a mix of educational, historical, and places, with the "goal" of INSPIRING our Youth. We visited several colleges because many of the children were not likely to attend college, but we assured them if they worked hard, they could get scholarships; 22 children, including 9-year-old Kyrin, attended that trip!

FAST FORWARD, September 2024, Halanna Clarke, mother of 9-year-old Kyrind, sends me a "Praise Report", they received a letter from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore last week; they extended a FULL, 4-year scholarship to her. Praise Be To God, while it is not her college of choice at this time, she was inspired it was possible! Kyrin is a hard worker and a believer in the works of God. She is in the process of completing her essay to attend her college of choice, as well as being accepted into Beebe Hospital Pediatric Neurology Program!
