Dear Church Family,
I want to begin with a clear and direct invitation:
Youth Ministry needs more adults — and we are asking you to consider stepping in.
If you are even slightly interested in learning more or exploring how you might get involved, please fill out the Youth Ministry Interest Form here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdGL-PRq60tCZcWUkMYmJQHqT006dDJBddzaX48UkOgYp00Rg/viewform?usp=dialog
Filling it out does not commit you to anything. It simply opens the door to a conversation.
Our middle school and high school students are showing up. They are asking big questions. They are forming their identities. They are navigating stress, pressure, doubt, hope, friendship, and faith.
They are not the future of the Church.
They are the Church now.
Research tells us that every young person needs at least five adults outside their family who know them, care about them, and show up consistently in their lives to feel rooted in a faith community. Five adults who remember their name. Five adults who ask how they’re really doing. Five adults who model what it looks like to live a life of faith.
You could be one of those five.
This is more than a nice idea — it is a real and present need.
Youth ministry does not grow on curriculum alone. It grows on relationships. And relationships require people. To continue building strong, relational, and vibrant programming, we need more adults willing to step in — not as experts or perfect mentors — but as present, caring people.
When adults invest in youth:
Our programs become stronger and more sustainable.
Our youth experience deeper belonging.
Our church becomes more connected across generations.
Faith becomes something that is lived and shared, not just taught.

Participation over perfection.
Attached you will find the Youth Volunteer Handbook with more details about each role and what involvement looks like. I encourage you to read through it and imagine where your gifts might fit.
Parents, retirees, college students, young adults, new parents, aunts, uncles, young professionals, single adults — all are welcome. All are needed.
In times of stress and struggle, the Church leans into community. This is one of those moments.
Let’s be the kind of church where every young person knows they are seen, known, and loved.
