RG family--we are going to wait one more week to begin our Bible Study. I've been battling a cold this week and I'm feeling okay but the voice is a little shaky. So I'm not sure it will hold up for both times in the morning. We will begin our look at Christ in the Old Testament on January 18th

RG Family--Happy New Year! I am excited as we head into 2026. I hope you'll be able to join us Sunday morning as we begin the year with Communion and I will be sharing our theme for 2026

Debbie and I want to thank all of you for the generous gift given for Pastor Appreciation month this past Sunday. It truly is our blessing and privilege to be able to serve all of you at Redeeming Grace.

As we look forward to this Sunday we will be continuing our look at prayer as a spiritual discipline and means of our spiritual growth; this will be during our Bible study time from 9:45-10:25. And then during our morning service we will be looking at Mark 9:30-41 and considering A Lesson on Humility. I would encourage you to read through these verses and give them some thought before Sunday morning.

And then a reminder about our Fall Fellowship this Sunday, October 19th. We will begin around 5:30 and have a time of some fun games and then fellowship around a meal. We are asking everyone to bring a pot of soup/chili and then also bread/chips/crackers to go along with that. The church will supply the dessert as well as the drinks. This would be a great thing to invite some friends to join us.

Know that I'm praying for you and we will look forward to seeing you Sunday morning.

Just a quick update as we look forward to another beautiful weekend. I know the ladies are looking forward to their time together this evening and tomorrow and we are praying that this will be a great time of spiritual encouragement and refreshment for all of you.

RG Family,
What a wonderful day we had yesterday worshipping together. I trust, for those who were able to attend, that the service was a great blessing to you. We had 35 in the service and that is a high number for the past few weeks. Please keep inviting others to attend with you and please continue to be faithful in your attendance. It is such an encouragement to one another when we gather together.

Last night was our first Digging Deeper time and we had a great time of discussion about the sermon, the study on prayer, as well as several other topics. Our next time on Sunday evening will be on Sunday the 28th--I hope many of you can join us for that time.

This coming Sunday we will be examining Mark 8:34-38 and the idea of Taking Up our Cross. I would encourage you to spend some time this week reading through these verses and thinking about them in anticipation of Sunday's message. At the end of the sermon, we will be singing a song together--We Will Follow. I have linked to a Youtube video from a church in Australia as they sing the song. The words are provided at the top of the screen while they sing. I hope you find this song challenging and encouraging.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

We will be holding our 10:30 service this morning as scheduled. It appears the bulk of the storm missed us and from what I am seeing and hearing the main roads are pretty clear. Obviously we do NOT want you coming to church if you feel it is unsafe for you in any way. If you are not comfortable driving in these conditions we completely understand. You can always watch the service online:)

Looking forward to seeing those who can make it later this morning and Lord willing the rest next week.

RG family--a quick reminder about our fellowship dinner after the morning service tomorrow. Please bring a main dish and either a side or dessert to share. The church will provide the drinks, plates, etc. After dinner the teens will be sharing testimonies about their week at The Wilds. Hope you can stay for the time of fellowship and to be encouraged by what the Lord has done in our young peoples' lives.

Thank you all for praying for our trip down to South Carolina. We've been having a great time with these teens. The adventures so far have been the long drive, Wah seeing mountains in the USA for the first time, a stop at Buc-ee's, and then our evening here at the VRBO in Traveler's Rest. This morning we're off to Morningside for church, then a tour of BJU, and then some time in downtown Greenville.
Jocelyn had a great first week of CIT and we were able to talk to her yesterday. The picture of her is after a massive game of capture the flag Wilds style last night.
Thank you for your continued prayers as our young people prepare their hearts for a week of camp.
