Last Tuesday, the People's Pantry served 2,151 people in 6.5 hours.

The need is real, and so is our responsibility to respond thoughtfully. We’ve been listening, learning, and adjusting in real time, with a focus on dignity, access, and care.

That’s why, starting tomorrow, we are offering our first full-service pantry day that will include Clarity and SNAP intakes. No advance registration and separate days for appointments needed.

By concentrating services into one longer day, families can access food plus on-site support and resources in one place, at the same time.

It's one, better-supported day. Every Tuesday. From 9:00-3:30.

Dear FBC Church Family,

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have served as your pastor for the past five and a half years. God's faithfulness has been evident in our shared ministry and developing faith. My time at FBC Lincoln has been transformative and meaningful. Thank you for the opportunity to learn how to pastor, for extending grace, instilling your trust, and allowing me to grow as a person.

As we are all called to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading, I am being called to serve in a different capacity. Sunday, May 11, 2025, will be my last Sunday at First Baptist Church of Lincoln. Austin and I have accepted the call to serve another American Baptist Churches USA Congregation in Ottawa, Kansas.

Thank you again for your continued prayers, support, and understanding. First Baptist Church of Lincoln will always hold a special place in my testimony to God’s movement and you all in my heart.

In Christ,
Rev. Joy Martinez-Marshall
