We celebrated Labor Day by inviting other religious from the Diocese to our Motherhouse for Mass, a lovely picnic lunch, and games. True joy comes from giving everything to Jesus and thanking Him for all He has given to us!

We are 1 week away from our 50th Founder's Day on September 12th! Here are some more memories from the past. May the Lord be magnified in us and in all the good He has done for us.

On Sunday Bishop Conley came to celebrate Mass and dedicate our new infirmary, named Camilla Hall, the same name as the infirmary of the IHM Sisters in Philadelphia. The Sisters and guests gathered for a beautiful blessing, and then the Bishop processed through the new rooms and sprinkled everything with holy water. Afterwards people were able to tour the new wing. Here we will be able to recover from surgeries and illness, and in our later years prepare for the most important moment of our lives: our death and union with Christ our Bridegroom. May Bishop Flavin's words be true: "May the equivalent of Camilla Hall be for you the threshold of the palace of the King."

To continue sharing our pilgrimage to our roots to the IHM Motherhouse, we want to share some memories from our time at the Motherhouse. It was a time of joyful reunions. We celebrated Mass with our IHM Mothers, then had a tour of the IHM Archives and school. Their founder, Fr. Gillet, said almost exactly the same words that Bishop Flavin said when he founded us: "If I cannot find Sisters, I shall organize one." That evening the Sisters gave us Phillies' finest--a dinner of Philly Cheesesteaks! The IHMs presented us with a beautiful framed picture of the seals of both of our Communities. We also had a chance to visit the cemetery and pray in gratitude for Mother Claudia and the many IHM Sisters who guided us over the years.

Last month, our whole Community took a pilgrimage to Immaculata Motherhouse, the home of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM). Fifty years ago on September 12, 1976, the IHM Sisters welcomed Mother Joan Paul as a postulant, and our Community was born! Leading up to our Jubilee celebration this September 12th, we will share some highlights from our pilgrimage.
Here are some pictures of the time we spent visiting at Camilla Hall, the IHM Sisters' infirmary. We met many elderly Sisters who showed us how to live our vows faithfully in joy and gratitude. Bishop Flavin once told us, "Study those Sisters, because you will see women who have proven that they truly love the Lord, for true love is forever."
